We bid farewell to Ruth Ann Winkelman (Canton, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 31, 2025 at the age of 95. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Elliott and Ethel Elliott (Holmes); her half-brother James Elliott; and her husband Don. She is survived by: her brother Chuck Elliott (Diane); her sons, Charles Winkelman (Laura), Paul Winkelman (Pam) and John Winkelman (Karen); and her grandchildren, Susanne Morse (Tyler), Matthew Winkelman, Stephen Winkelman (Nancy), Jonathan Winkelman (Abby), Katelyn Schultz (Philip), Hannah Jirrels (Andy), Mary Winkelman, Grace Herring (Josh) and Kara Huizinga (Justin). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home (1803 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canton Christian Home or Samaritans Purse.
