She was predeceased by: her parents, James Boyd and Doris Walker. She is survived by: her husband James N. Gump Sr.; her daughter Lori Sams; her grandson Justin Scott Gump; her sister Doris Kay Day; her children, Jamie (Carol), Jody (Beth), Dale (Cindy), Dan (Julie), Susan Whited (Ron) and Melanie Shumaker (Dennis); her grandchildren, Jody Jr., Daniel, Lorin, Cameron, Paige of McKenzie, C. J., Garrett, Saylor, Marni, Rylee, Otto and Alivia; and her great grandchildren, Jayden, Jaxon, Quinn, Hudson, Sophia, Penelope and Carson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home (547 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at the Hillside Memorial Park (1025 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312).
