She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hoffman and Hilda Hoffman; and her sisters, Irene Hoffman Wernecke and Marjorie Hoffman Koontz. She is survived by: her brother David James Hoffman; her sons, Jim Schweitzer and Glen Schweitzer (Laura); her grandchildren, Lauren Bolton (Jeff), Jason Schweitzer, Michael Schweitzer (Kayleigh), Jessica Altemus (Ben) and Brandon Warner; Robert Allen Schweitzer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Paquelet and Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Homes (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at the Sunset Hills Burial Park (5001 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, OH 44718).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Marian's memory to First Baptist Church of Massillon.
