He was predeceased by: his son Eric Hillyard; his brother Dan Hillyard; and his father Frank. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Mark Hillyard (Sarah), Tina Burgan (Rich) and Nick Hillyard (Jamie); his daughter-in-law Jennifer Sopko; his grandchildren, Tyler Dolan, Blake, Sydney Hillyard, Kyle, Kaylee Burgan and Paisley Hillyard; his brother Kenneth Hillyard (Debbie); and his brother-in-law Rod Kuchenbecker (Angie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
