He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frank and Emma Louise Fantin (Visintainer); his siblings, Danny, Louise Patrick (Wishard), Frank (Fran), Victor (Mary Louise), Jack Fantine (Carol) and John Fantin; and his brother-in-law Alex Antonelli (Ruth).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Fantin; his sons, Tony Fantin (April Herrington) of New Philadelphia and Tom Fantin (Lori) of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Austin Fantin (Rachel) of North Canton, Cameron Fantin of New Philadelphia and Lucas Fantin of New Philadelphia; his sister Norma Fantin of New Philadelphia; and his sisters-in-law, Shelby Fantin and Carole Fantine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home & Crematory - New Philadelphia (116 2nd St NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). A Mass will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (139 3rd St NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663).
