We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2025, at the age of 91, Marylou J. Brunner of Canton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Backus and Adella Backus (Adele); and her husband Lawrence (Larry). She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Brunner Jr. (Elaine) of Canton, Mary Susan Kruse (Thomas) of Wheatridge, Paul Brunner (Sandy) of North Canton, Anthony Brunner (Angelia) of Canton and Maryanne Hanratta (Patrick) of Mogadore, Ohio.; her grandchildren, Bradey (Molly), Brendan, Tiffany, Amanda (Spencer), Jessica, Katie, Justin (Ariel), Joseph, James, Andrea, Rebekah and Kristina; and her great grandchildren, Boston, Violet, Cash and Melody. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lamiell Funeral Home (1353 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44703). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Paul Catholic Church (241 S Main St, North Canton, OH 44720).
Donations can be made in her honor to Right to Life, Wounded Warriors, or the American Heart Association.
