He is survived by: his children, Karen Bistany (Red) of Tampa, Florida, Vicki Trottier (Doug) of Covington, Georgia and Charlie Simons (Sherry) of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; his grandchildren, Brian, Kimberly, Allison (Jeremy), James (Lauren), Rachel and Kasey Lynne (Jake); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Kaiya, Karys, Brooks, Cooper, Harlow, Evie, Jackson, Ransom and Tenley; and his brothers, Lynn Simons of Summersville, WV and Bill Simons (Anna) of Fouke, AK. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Beyers Funeral Home & Crematory - Purcell Chapel (114 W Noble Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
