He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Monroe Creel and Barbara Mae Pitts Creel; his son James Clyde Creel Jr.; and his siblings, Eugene Creel, Dorothy Toche, Ruth Tanner, Mike Creel and Mandy Creel.
He is survived by: his children, Loir Austin (Brent), David Creel (Chasity), Katherine Autrey (Kenneth) and Tracey Blankenship (Clay); and his siblings, Dovie Williams, David Creel, Cathy Turner, Tommy Creel, Elvin Creel and Bill Creel. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ of Caryville (2840 Pate Pond Rd, Caryville, FL 32427). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
