He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie David Tate and Barbara Mae Averett Tate; his wife Beatrice Smith Tate; and his siblings, Calvin Tate, Bobby Tate, Shirley Jenkins, Bo Tate, Agnes Edwards and Carolyn Holder.
He is survived by: his children, John Tate (Anissa), Melissa Domingue (Elvin) and Mark Fuller; his niece Barbra Bennett (Josh); his grandchildren, Ayden (Amy), Jaxson, Hunter (Jordan), Skyla (Colyn), Tyler, Christian, Conner and Caroline; his great grandchildren, Hagan, Layson and Aria; and his siblings, Charlie Tate (Bernice), Ann Murphy (Donny) and Christine Bryant. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (595 Son-In-Law Rd, Bonifay, FL 32425).
