She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert Byrd; her sister Wanda; her brother-in-law Pete DuBois; and her brother Curtis Christian. She is survived by: her parents, Joe Christian and Ruby Christian; her children, Kim Jones (Vicky) of Smiths Station, AL, Gail Matthews (Mark) of Wilmore, KY, Cheryl Estevez (Tommy) of Archer, FL and Debi Huff of Ariton, AL.; and her stepson Tom Byrd (Suzanne) of Waco. She is also survived by her mother and father and her siblings.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home (16984 SE Hwy 19, Cross City, FL 32628). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Cross City Chapel (16984 SE Hwy 19, Cross City, FL 32628).
