It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsa Lenia Nunley of Winter Park, Florida, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Elsa Lenia may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Henry Johnson and Zenobia W. Boyd Johnson; her husband Charles Lee Nunley; her son Keith H. Nunley; and her sisters, Karin Ellen Bohannon and Martha Lou Zetrouer.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Bradford Nunley (Laura Suzanne), Winnona M. Grabe (Richard), Laura J. Nunley and Ellen L. Beach (Alan); and her daughter-in-law Mechele Nunley. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Masters Funeral Home - Palatka Chapel (3015 Crill Ave, Palatka, FL 32177). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
