He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hunter Smith, II and Audrey Greenwald Smith. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Smith Ross (Jody), Joseph Smith (Jill) of Vero Beach, Jimmy Smith (Rhonda) of Vero Beach and Jay Smith of Tennessee; and his close friend Debra Deacon. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (1850 6th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32960).
