In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Lucille leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Lucille may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ettore Mazzei and Josephine Mazzei; her husband Floyd "Flip" T. Metz; and her siblings, Ann Miles and Baldo Mazzei.
She is survived by: her children, Floyd T. Metz (Catherine) of Cape Coral, Calli Hendrickson (late Edward) of Naples, Lois Forlenza of Estero, Edward Metz (Gina) of Dunedin and Thomas Metz (Doreen) of Cape Coral; and her sisters, Janet Taylor (William) of New York and Catherine Balletto (Louis) of New Jersey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Joseph St. Thomas (6097 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10309). A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Cemetery of the Resurrection.
