He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hudgens and Helen Hudgens; and his brother Lawrence (Larry). He is survived by: his wife Carol L Hudgens; his children, Jacquelyn Hernandez (Ben) and Curtis Thomas (Alina); his grandchildren, Christopher Hernandez and Alyssa Thomas; and his sisters-in-law, Marcella Hudgens, Mattie Williams and Judith Nemeth (John). He is also survived by 8 nieces and 8 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Niceville Church of Christ (801 E John Sims Pkwy, Niceville, FL 32578). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief or the Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team.
