He was predeceased by: his mother Kathryn Rogers Bassford (David Lee Bassford). He is survived by: his wife Josie Pupo-Bassford of Hollywood, FL; his children, Kristy Bassford of Hollywood, FL, Janelle DellaGenao of Hollywood, FL, Giovanni Genao of Hollywood, FL, Selene of Hollywood, FL and Gabriel DellaLibera of Hollywood, FL; his sister Victoria Bassford Duarte of Gastonia, NC; and his grandchildren, Liana Genao, Skylar Bassford and Luca Genao. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the South Florida Va National Cemetery (6501 N State Rd 7, Coconut Creek, FL 33073).
