With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Ruth Hodz of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Cocoa Beach, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 69. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Hodz; her children, Tricia Henson (Jeff), Bailey Hodz, Samantha Hodz, Kim Joos (Randy) and Kenny Bussing (Jamie); her grandchildren, Faith Herring, Hope Herring, Audrey Joos, Avery Joos, Connor Bussing and Presley Bussing; her great grandchildren, Aurora Prather and Raya Prather; her siblings, Ellen Feese (Bill) and Tommy Mears (Patti); and her sister-in-law Elaine Hodz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
