With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margarita Gamez of Indiantown, Florida, who passed away on June 14, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopoldo Perez and Virginia Cendejas. She is survived by: her children, Bulmaro Gamez (Maria Elena), Carlos Gamez (Evangelina), Rodolfo Gamez (Martha), Letisia Gamez (Jose), Raquel Gamez (Octaviano), Javier Gamez (Maria Guadalupe), Hernan Gamez (Liz), Sylvester Gamez (Lidia), Mariza Gamez (Joel), Margarita Gamez (Jose), Remigio Gamez and Monica Gamez (Naz); and her siblings, Adela Perez, Consuelo Perez, Agustin Perez and Luis Perez. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park (111 E Circle St, Avon Park, FL 33825). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Catherine Catholic Church (820 Hickory St, Sebring, FL 33870). A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bougainvillea Cemetery (591 US Hwy 27, Avon Park, FL 33825).
