He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hargis and Mary Hargis; his former wife Nancy Mocker Hargis; and his sister Nancy Hargis. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Diehl-Hargis; his daughter Tonya Dorris (Roy) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kayla and Ryan Dorris of Tennessee; his stepsons, Sean, Brad and Casey; and his stepgrandchildren, Bethani, Connor and Camden. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
