With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvester S. Mazzella of Boynton Beach, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Mazzella and Luigi Mazzella; his sister Lucille Mazzella; and his former wife Mary Ann Mazzella. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his daughter Ava Mazzella Santana (Ray); his brothers, Ralph Mazzella (Silveria) and Louis Mazzella (Silveria); his nieces, Angella Chuquimarca (Javier), Ida Russo (Jon), Anjelica Mazzella Calwell (Jordan) and Veronica Mazzella Papineau-Wright (Justin); and his nephew Louis Mazzella (Monica).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Yorktown Funeral Home (945 E Main St, Shrub Oak, NY 10588). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church (1377 E Main St, Shrub Oak, NY 10588). A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (1033 Oregon Rd, Cortlandt, NY 10567).
Donations can be made in Silvio's memory to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
