He was predeceased by: his siblings, Cecil Spates, Ernest Spates, Franklin Spates and Alice Spates. He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances; his son Joseph Spates (Sandy); his granddaughters, Tiffany and Julia; his son David Spates (Vickie); his grandsons, Zachary and Mathew (Mary); his great grandchild Megan; his son Michael Spates; and his great grandchild Matthew Jack Spates. He is also survived by The sons had their children and their children had children.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel Hill (2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery (2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817).
