Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Qualls; his parents, J. W. Qualls and Minerva Pendergrass; and his siblings, Sharon Ashman, Mark Qualls and Rocky Qualls.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Crum (Johnny), Janet Qualla, Melissa Spires (Jerry), Roy Crum (Emily) and April Thomas (Melvin); and his sister Janice Bynum (Bill). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Panacea Congregational Holiness Church (1127 Coastal Hwy, Panacea, FL 32346).
