It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of June Derentha Adcock McLain of Panama City Beach, Florida, who passed away on June 23, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Adcock and Mary Lou Beckham Adcock; and her husband George Avery "Mac" McLain. She is survived by: her children, George Avery McLain (Debbie McLain) and Martha Nell Snider (Tim Snider); her grandchildren, Danny McLain, Beverly McLain, Shane Snider, Elizabeth Katz, Melissa Sexton and Charles McLain (Blair McLain); her great grandchildren, Brianna Cotta (Jeremy Cotta), Abbi McLain (Byron McLain), Will Sexton (Ashlyn McLain), EJ Sexton (Avery McLain) and Lucas McLain (Emmie McLain); and her caregivers, Jennifer Poston, Yvonne Starks, Tammy Stanley and Cheryl Williams.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forest Park Church (1401 W 23rd St, Panama City, FL 32405). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Newton Cemetery (475 Killebrew St, Newton, AL 36362).
