We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2025, at the age of 88, Posie Dee Vaughan of Westville, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Lee Vaughan, Johnny C. Vaughan, Charlene Hawthorne, Ruth Forsythe, Cumi Vaughan and Eudene Hughes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Lee (Don) of Westville, FL and Emmy Mosser (Jason) of Bonifay, FL; his granddaughters, Ciara Lee of Westville, FL, Kiannah Mosser of Bonifay, FL, Jayden Mosser of Bonifay, FL and Lorelei Mosser of Bonifay, FL; and his sister Rachel Heath of Cantonment, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home (2744 W Magnolia Ave, Geneva, AL 36340). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to New Hope Baptist Church or to any Holmes County, FL School System Basketball program in Mr. Vaughan's memory.
