He was predeceased by: his parents, Murrell Harvey Parker and Gaetana "Kay" Ferraro Parker; his son Jeffrey Parker, Sr.; his half-brothers, Johnny Parker and Ronnie Parker; and his grandson Mathew Holbrook.
He is survived by: his wife Shelley Hyatt Parker of Middleburg, FL; his children, Richard Thomas Parker, Jr. (Catherine) of Piscataway, NJ, Pamela Holbrook (Timothy) of Middleburg, FL and Scott Parker (Chad Clatterbaugh) of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Ken Parker of Georgia and Karen Vauhgn (Donald) of Tallahassee, FL; his grandchildren, Abigail Parker, Kent Parker, Ashley Harner (Alex), Jonathan Parker, James Parker (Katey), Jeffrey Parker, Jr., Stephen Parker, Nicholas Parker, Zoe Clatterbaugh and Ava Clatterbaugh; and his great grandchildren, Matthew Parker, Isabella Parker, Gabby Parker and James Parker, Jr.. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ferreira Funeral Services Chaffee Road Chapel (1320 Chaffee Rd S, Jacksonville, FL 32221). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
