With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Benice Thompson of Gainesville, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Linda has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Avis Fuqua and Beatrice Fuqua (Taylor); and her husband Edwin Doyle Thompson. She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Thompson of Starke; and her siblings, Avon Fuqua (Shirley), Jesse Fuqua of Ashford, Laura Crews of Starke, Eva Huff of Hudson and Ashley Fuqua (JoAnn) of Hudson. She is also survived by family and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (3660 SW 7th Pl, Ocala, FL 34474).
