He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Finley Knight, Sr. and Margaret Palmer Knight; and his sister Elise Knight Snell. He is survived by: his wife Maria Brownett Knight; his sisters, Carol Finley Knight, Jr. (Virginia) and Susan Knight Chunn; his children, Palmer Knight, Jr. (Tracy), Davis Knight (Elizabeth) and Jonathan Knight (Brooke); and his grandchildren, Ashlyn Betros (Tim), Austin Knight, Matthew, Zoe Knight and Jonathan.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark's Episcopal Church (4129 Oxford Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32210). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to DePaul School of Northeast Florida.
