He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Maria Oropeza and Esther Oropeza; his brothers, Joseph and Arthur; and his granddaughter Norah Bella.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Oropeza; his children, Octavia Oropeza, Aisha Oropeza, Brittany Hurst, Alexandra Prosperous, Stephanie Quinones and Norman "Jon" Oropeza; his grandchildren, Ryan, Rhiannon, Ezaki, Malachai, Layla, Dixon, Ella and Cannan; and his siblings, Racquel, Violet, Yvonne, Les and Anthony. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Life Church (734 62nd Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33702). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5750 49th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709).
