He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Teeples and Geneva Teeples; and his wife Edith Nave. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Teeples (Sheri) and Melinda Bogensberger (James); his grandchildren, Stephanie Wetzel (Kurtis), Katie Cunill (Ryan), Courtney Zeamer (Luke), Alex Teeples, Zachary Teeples (Matthew) and Eric Salvatore (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Hannah, Theodore, Evangeline, Gloria, Jameson, Kasden Wetzel, Oliver, Liam Zeamer and Maisie Cunill; and his sister Kathy Roehling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Living Savior Lutheran Church (2650 Lithos Pinterest Rd, Valrico, FL 33596).
In lieu of flowers, Jim requested a memorial bench be placed at church for himself and his wife, Edith Teeples.
