Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis and Edna; her siblings, Dolores Dyal Russell, Raymond Otis Dyal and Peggy Ann Sandlin; and her son Jeb Stuart Johns.
She is survived by: her daughter Ashley Johns Thomas (Adam Jackson Thomas); and her grandchildren, Asher and Archer.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Episcopal Church (2423 SW Bascom Norris Dr, Lake City, FL 32025).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Linda's honor to a local charity or program dedicated to historical preservation, animal protection, or the under-served populations.
