He is survived by: his father Charles Van Zant Sr.; his wife Brenda; his children, Brenda Sue Leach (Derek) and Scott Van Zant Jr. (Eva); his grandchildren, Joel, Zeyda, Julien and Myron; and his siblings, Mike Van Zant, Charles Van Zant Jr. (Stephanie) and Kimberly Hansen (Richard).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fruit Cove Baptist Church (501 FL-13, St Johns, FL 32259). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
