He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Edward Nentwig and Mary Katherine Rick; his sister Judith Raymond; and his son-in-law Joe Born. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Rae Nentwig and Darcy Lynn Born (Joe); his wife Gloria Rae Schauman; his sister Martha Escarino (Felix); his in-laws, Keith, Linda Schauman, Mark, Kimberley Schauman and Karen Ferguson (Charlie Olszewski); and his cousin Barbara Russell (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (445 82nd Ave, St Pete Beach, FL 33706). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Vianney Catholic Church or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Gary's memory.
