We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2025, at the age of 80, Elder Curtis Douglas Sr. of Pensacola, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Elder may no longer walk beside us, their memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elder touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In their absence, their spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A wake will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Funeral Home (619 N New Warrington Rd, Pensacola, FL 32506). Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zion Hope Primitive Baptist (201 W Leonard St, Pensacola, FL 32501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
