With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William E. Austin of Orlando, Florida, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy William leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman B. Austin and Elizabeth Austin (Ramey); and his daughter Kelly Galbraith. He is survived by: his wife Lorene Austin; and his children, Stephanie Cross (Stephen), Mark Austin and Tracey Alvarado. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the University Baptist Church of Union Park (10301 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32817).
