He is survived by: his wife Terry L. Welch; his children, Carmen Vanek (Brandon) and Wayne Welch, Jr. (Brianna Nelson); his grandchildren, Trevor Allen, Deserae Hughes (Thomas) and Izzy Flores; and his great grandchildren, Camden Hughes, Luke Hughes, Madilynn Hughes, Natalee Hughes and Owen Hughes.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel (2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504).
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 5200 Bayou Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32503, in Gary's name.
