She was predeceased by: her son James Rice II; her parents, William Taylor and Nellie Taylor; and her nephew Daniel. She is survived by: her children, Tami Rice and Shannon Burden; her grandchildren, Jessica, Anthony, Jamie, Jaclyn and Trever; her great grandchildren, Tabitha, Shawn, Raylynn, Ishmael and Henry; her siblings, Eleanor Toakarski, James Tokarski, Shirley Pyle and Thomas Pyle; and her siblings' children, Kathleen and Christopher.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home (5630 Pontiac Lake Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48327). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
