It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Mitacchione of Deland, Florida, who passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Pace and Antonia Pace (Amendolara); and her husband Vito Mitacchione. She is survived by: her children, Maria (John), Antoinette (Ray) and Stefano; her grandchildren, Sarah (David), Jessica, Christopher, Vincent (Bianca), Michael (Gem) and Lena (JJ); and her great grandchildren, Eva, Sean, Haleigh, Christian, Roman, Vito, Isabella, Gabriel and Stefano. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Deland Memorial Gardens (600 E Beresford Ave, DeLand, FL 32724). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Deltona Memorial Gardens (1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763).
