She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peeples and Mildred Peeples; her husband Francis Barrett of Paul's Church; her son Stephen Barrett; and her brothers, Harry, Sidney and Tommy Peeples.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Staudinger; her siblings, Jay, Larry, Ray, Wayne, Sue Acosta, Elaine Starling and Sharon Parsons; her grandchildren, Chris Staudinger, Nicole Hargrove and Jaime Chunowitz; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Brian Chunowitz and Valerie Hargrove.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Fred Hunters Funeral Home (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
