She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Joe Steele; her parents, Leland Ellis and Thelma Ellis; and her sister Jennie Lazorchek (Dave). She is survived by: her children, Jeannie D. (Steele) and James D. Steele; and her grandson Kuba L. Steele.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the College Road Church of Christ (400 College Rd, Palatka, FL 32177). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friendship Cemetery (1550 Kirk Ridge Rd, Murray, KY 42071).
