He is survived by: his wife Karen Gaye Schleuse; his children, Heather Sharwan Yarbrough and Kirk Byron Buchanan; his children-in-law, Mark Stephen Yarbrough and Lisa Gayle Buchanan; his grandchildren, Ava Marie Yarbrough and Keaton Bryant Buchanan; his brother Mark Douglas Schleuse; and his sister-in-law Nita Lynn Schleuse. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
