He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Carmack and Sheirly Slaughter; and his stepfather James Slaughter. He is survived by: his wife Donna Carmack of Brownwood; his children, Rachel Gall of Oklahoma, Wesley Jr. (Sammi) of Brownwood and Justin Scantling of Brownwood; and his siblings, Johnny Slaughter of Florida, Charles Carmack of San Angelo, Craig Slaughter of Midlothian, TX, Sherry Carmack of Brownwood and Cheryl Carmack of Brownwood. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Blaylock Funeral Home (1914 Indian Creek Rd, Brownwood, TX 76801).
