It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Burgess of Allen, Texas, who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Cordle and Margaret Giles Cordle. She is survived by: her husband Floyd Ken Burgess of Allen, Texas.; her brother-in-law Rickey (Sharon Burgess) of Fredericksburg; her sibling's children, Marissa (Byron Fisher), Cary and Brent Burgess; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaelyn Fisher, Remington Rose Burgess, Joshua and Micah Fisher; and her stepfather Robert Hunley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the Family Chapel in the Greenwood Cemetery (1665 Llano St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
