He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Pierson and Clara Pierson Mason; and his brother Tom Pierson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Elaine Pierson; and his children, David Pierson (Darla Pierson), Tresa Pierson, Joshua Newsom and Kristiana Bustamante.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wade Funeral Home & Crematory - Arlington (4140 W Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasantview Baptist Church (4400 Pleasantview Dr, Arlington, TX 76017). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Emerald Hills Memorial Park (500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jerry's honor to Pleasantview Baptist Church, reflecting his lifelong commitment to his faith and church family.
